The first thing to know about finding your purpose is that it's a journey, not something that just happens overnight.
Our purpose is found in our life story.
A few questions to ask yourself-
What have I overcome in life - and how can those experiences help someone else? This doesn't have to be rooted in trauma. This can come from good OR bad life experiences.
What do I feel led to do?
What is the one thing that people often seek my advice for?
What are my natural God given gifts and talents?
Often times, the internet has a way of overcomplicating purpose. It all boils down to learning your life story and seeing how you can positively impact your community - and by community, I don't mean geographically, but anyone that is connected to you.
I believe that God created each of us with a purpose in mind, but He also gives us the freedom to choose how we will fulfill it, based on the things we are passionate about.
If you're just beginning your journey to finding your purpose, don't focus on "how" you are going to fulfill it (services, products, etc), but focus on what impact you want to make. Once you know how you want to impact the people in your community, then you can go back and connect the dots to your passion.
Your purpose is what you do. Your passion is how you do it.
Lead with purpose. Let passion be the vehicle that helps you fulfil it.
